The newly refurbished gallery re-opened under new management
with a special show for IP-Arts festival late June 2008.
Exposure will continue to showcase local talent, but also aims to bring you more varied shows, sourced from local communities, & further afield, by bringing in the work of photographers from around the country.
Exposure will host events, and has a range of facilities on offer to its visitors :-

P.S. We apologise for the problems with this website during some periods, & would like to
thank all those who supported during the year in which the Basement Gallery showcased
some fantastic photography and digital art. Most of the participating artists were local
to East Anglia, and we were proud to have had such a high standard throughout the year.
The Gallery was originally set up and run by Emma Aldous, who was a woman with a vision.
Emma worked very hard to ensure this excellent space was used to bring inspirational shows
to the centre of Ipswich, & the results have been an inspiration to many — thank you Emma.
